
Brief Introduction
This course is a professional level course, aiming at those who have lot of wine knowledge and are eager to know more. Through two days learning, you’ll get to know clear and professional wine knowledge. It is designed to provide an easy to understanding and interesting knowledge delivering course. There are no hard-to-understanding professional wine words and too much definitions. We’re hoping to give the candidate who has advanced knowledge about wine a deeply learning routes.

- Red grape varieties and the major wine regions
- White grape varieties and the major wine regions
- The wine classifications of wine producing countries
- The factors that influence the wine in the vineyard
- The factors that influence the wine in the winery
- Global ten major wine regions: Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Champagne, Toscana, Piemonte, Rioja, Rheingau, Napa Valley, Central Valley, Marlborough
- Sparkling Wines
- Fortified Wines
Assessment
Assessment is done by a close-book exam of 50 multiple choice question. And each question has only one right choice.
Candidates achieved the result of 60% will get a FDA Professional Certificate of Wine and a pin.
Total Course Time and Learning Hours
Total Course Time is 12 hours, and this includes the 60 minutes for the examination.
6 hours of self-learning time before the course delivering is suggested for those have little information about the wine.
Entry Requirements
There are no restriction on entry the FDA Professional Wine Certificate except for the candidates who are under the legal minimum age for the alcoholic drinking cannot taste the wines in the course but this is not the barrier to successfully completing the qualification.
Recommended Next Learning Course
The FDA Professional Wine Certificate, or an equivalent level of experience, is recommended for entry to the FDA Master Wine Certificate learning.
